Welcome to my blog. In my quiet hours I seek to touch the depth of myself and my surroundings. My thoughts that take form of poetry are just the scratches on the surface of life as it reveals to me. Wrapped in a delicate veil of symbolism and ambiguity these verses and expressions also fulfill my desire to share a bit of my self with others. I hope reading them would be as enjoyable for you as writing them has been for me.

A Layman’s Wisdom
We grew up with an ancient phrase of our wise ancient visionaries.
"वसुधैव कुटुंबकम्"-‘Vasudhavekutumbkam'-The world is a family.
Engraved and proudly displayed on stone pillars and flags,
Carved upon ancient walls of temples,
Printed in photographs and in writings.
All silently reminding us not to ever forget the higher vision of life!
It may seem like an Ideal beyond comprehension!
But we all know this much!
When the forest burns the habitats in side are sure to burn!
If the neighbor's house is torched ambers are likely to fall upon your roof!
